Making Reservation

1. How do I make a hotel reservation?
  To make a reservation, please follow the steps below:
Step 1: Search for destination, dates and number of rooms required.
Step 2: Review search results and click on the links under the hotel of your choice for further information.
Step 3: Select the price next to the hotel of your choice and enter names and payment details.
Step 4: Once you click on the "Book" button, you can rest assured that your booking is in safe hands. Your request for reservation will be acknowledged by our email, and as soon as we obtain confirmation of the reservation from the hotel, we will charge your card with 10%, and send you a voucher confirming your reservation, which you need to present to the hotel on arrival.
 
2. Are the rates quoted by you per person or per room per night? Do they include taxes and breakfast?
  All rates quoted by us are per room (NOT person) inclusive of all taxes. We also indicate if breakfast is included. The final price is shown clearly, when you enter your credit/debit card details.
   
3. When will my card be debited ?
  On booking 10% of the total price will be debited to your card to ensure reservation. The amount will be shown on your voucher. The balance will be debited by the hotel when you check out.
   
4. Why do I need to enter the age of my child/children?
  The policy regarding child discount varies for each hotel, and hence we ask you for the number of children and their ages. The discounts are applied to the total price quoted.
   
5. Do I receive a hotel voucher for my booking?
  Yes, by email. You need to print this booking confirmation voucher and present it to the hotel when you check in.

6. What if I lose my voucher or booking reference number?
  Phone 020 7586 1720 or Fax 020 7483 2684 or email support@discounthotel4u.com and we will look it up for you using your name and date of arrival at your hotel.
 
7. Can I reprint a copy of the voucher?
  Phone 020 7586 1720 or Fax 020 7483 2684 or email support@discounthotel4u.com and we will email another copy of the voucher.
   
8. How do I know if my hotel reservation is confirmed?
  Once you have completed your booking, your reference number will be displayed on the screen. We will also email your booking confirmation, showing your itinerary and reference number. This email will include a voucher to be printed, which you can present to the hotel on arrival, as proof of your reservation.
   
9. Do I need to confirm my booking with the hotel directly?
  No, the booking confirmation voucher printed from our website is all you need.

9b. Can I leave my bags at the hotel?
  You can leave your luggage with reception until your room is ready. Some hotels will also store your luggage for a time up to several days. The hotels may levy a small charge for this.
 
9c. Can I check out later than check out time?
  Most hotels allow this, subject to availability and usually without charge until midday lunch time. However, most will charge extra for this should this extend past midday on check out day.
   
9d. How do I book if I don't want to input my details over the Internet?

Payment & Credit/Debit Card Information

11. What credit / debit cards are accepted?
  We accept American Express, Diners Club, Mastercard, Switch and Visa.
 
12. How safe are my card details?
  We use industry standard encryption facility to ensure security. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our customers, and do not store your credit / debit card details on our website.
   
13. When will the money be debited from my credit card?
  When the booking is confirmed, we will debit 10% of the total value to your card. The balance will be payable by you to the hotel at the time of checking out.
   
14. Why do I have to pay 10% in advance?
  To ensure your accommodation is reserved.
   
15 What do you do with my personal information?
  We only ask for information necessary for the reservation. We value your privacy and security and do not use your details in any other way.
   
16. Are you VAT registered?
  Yes, we are VAT registered. If you require a VAT invoice, please request for one.


Changing Or Cancelling My Reservation

17. How can I amend my booking?
  Simply contact us on Phone 020 7586 1720 or Fax 020 7483 2684 or email support@discounthotel4u.com quoting your booking reference number and/or your name, dates and the name of the hotel booked. An agent will then help you with the changes.
 
18. How can I cancel my booking?
  Cancellations can be effected through Phone 020 7586 1720 or Fax 020 7483 2684 or email support@discounthotel4u.com. Please note any cancellation will be subject to our terms and conditions.
   
19. How much will I be charged if I cancel a booking?
  You may cancel any reservation without penalty 72 hours (3 days) prior to your arrival date. Any deposit paid will be refunded, less £5.00 for administrative expenses.
If cancellation is done within 72 hours, the hotel is entitled to charge one night penalty fee. This is at the discretion of the hotel concerned and will be detailed with the description of the hotel under "cancellation policy".
In the case of no shows, the hotel will charge for one day.
   
20. What happens to my hotel booking if I am delayed in checking in?
  All hotel rooms will be held until 10.00 pm on the day of arrival. If there is a possibility of late arrival, please either phone us or the hotel ahead of time.
